Dylan Brown, born and raised in Red Deer, is the owner and lead artist at Bad & Bougie Studio, bringing 17 years of professional tattooing experience to his hometown. His journey is one of resilience, having fought through addiction to embrace a fresh start and channel his passion back into his art. Specializing in black and white and colour realism tattoos, portraits, as well as typography design. Dylan’s work showcases his technical mastery and personal growth. His dedication to his craft not only transforms skin but also inspires others, making him a pivotal figure in the local tattoo community.

Brooke Schwarz started her journey in permanent makeup, perfecting skills in eyebrows and lashes. Recently, she transitioned her fine line expertise into tattooing, apprenticing under her partner Dylan and learning from the team at the shop. Brooke’s precision and fast progress have already made her a standout artist, as she combines her PMU background with a growing talent for tattooing. With a passion for detail and a commitment to her craft, Brooke is quickly making her mark in the tattoo world.

Kaylie started tattooing in 2022, working from home with basic tools and hand-drawn stencils. She joined the shop in September 2024, leaving behind a career in dog grooming and nannying to focus on her passion for art. Kaylie’s style blends geometric and script tattoos, and she’s always learning and growing. Having overcome personal challenges with mental health and addiction, her goal is to help others feel confident and comfortable in their own skin, using her art to make a positive, lasting impact.
